Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between title case and sentence case? +

Title Case capitalizes the major words of a heading (and lowercases small words like “the”, “of” and “and”). Sentence case capitalizes only the first word of each sentence plus proper nouns - the way normal prose is written.

What is the difference between AP and Chicago title case? +

Mostly prepositions. AP capitalizes prepositions of four or more letters (From, With, Into) and lowercases short ones. Chicago lowercases all prepositions regardless of length. This converter applies each guide’s real small-word rules.

Is my text uploaded or stored anywhere? +

No. Everything runs in your browser with plain JavaScript - your text is never uploaded, stored, or logged. Open your browser’s DevTools Network tab while you use it and you’ll see zero requests. The tool also works offline.
