This page lists the cookies and browser storage Penluma uses. We keep it minimal: a few essential items to make the site work and remember your choices, plus optional analytics that load only if you accept.

Essential (always on)

These make the site function and remember your preferences. They store no personal data and can't be turned off.

• Theme - remembers light/dark mode (theme, in local storage).
• Consent choice - remembers your cookie decision so we don't ask again (consent_v2, in local storage).
• Newsletter prompt state - remembers if you subscribed or dismissed the newsletter popup, so it isn't shown repeatedly (nl_subscribed, nl_dismissed_at, in local storage).

Analytics (optional - only with consent)

If you accept, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies (such as _ga) to measure page views and traffic in aggregate. Until you accept, Google Consent Mode keeps analytics storage denied, so these cookies are not set. Decline or withdraw consent and they stay off.

What we don't use

No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no third-party marketing pixels. The writing tools run entirely in your browser and set no tracking storage of any kind.

Use Cookie settings to change your analytics choice here on the site. You can also clear or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings at any time - doing so may reset your theme and consent preferences.
